This symbol is used on pages intending to include a symbol inclusive of a broad variety of religions. However, the selection here is western-biased and somewhat arbitrary. For example, it includes Eckankar with 50,000 followers,[1] while excluding Falun Gong with with between 50-100 million followers. A revised version of this image should be made based on the largest religious groups. Sondra.kinsey (talk) 16:17, 2 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I really don't think this graphic was intended to represent the 16 religions or religious traditions with the greatest number of adherents in the world currently. If anyone makes a graphic with that specific purpose, then it should be uploaded as a separate file with a new name (in accordance with COM:OVERWRITE). Also, considering that J. Gordon Melton has had a dubious and checkered career, I don't know why anybody should be expected to take his word for anything... AnonMoos (talk) 21:32, 7 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
