Original photo[edit]
The original photograph was apparently much larger and much wider, and representative versions are available online, but it's not clear which is the original and which have been digitally edited (and thus perhaps under a later copyright):
- 944x356; much wider, shorter, high resolution (1st Academy Awards)
- 553x369; wider, text missing (source)
- 600x285; much wider, shorter (dead link 1, dead link 2)
- 400x146; much wider, much shorter (source)
- 303x182; full photo, similar resolution (Oscars History) – dead links
The Academy Awards site suggests that they remain the holder of the original, but the links to the full image (albeit in a small resolution) have gone dead. GPHemsley (talk) 03:25, 25 February 2013 (UTC)
