Wondering why there are no stars in the sky in this pic?

There hardly ever are in these kinds of images. The reason is because the earth is so "bright" in comparison to the stars that the shuttertime is too short to pick up any significant light from the stars. TheDJ (talk) 11:46, 20 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The file summary names Frank Borman as author, however the file description below says "taken by crewmember Bill Anders". What is correct ? I think Anders took the photo because he initially had a black and white film in his camera. Thereafter he changed to a colour film. Borman was occupied with steering the spacecraft.--Joschiki (talk) 12:15, 14 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
