unfortunately a lot of captions of the sub-camp locations are wrong --- Exactly! Many locations are totally wrong! Compare it for example with this map. Please delete this image! --Murcie13 (talk) 12:44, 9 March 2009 (UTC)
"Ternsberg"[edit]
Der Name "Ternsberg" in der Karte ist falsch. Richtig muss es "Ternberg" (ohne s) heißen. Es wäre schön, wenn das jemand ändern könnte. (siehe: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diskussion:KZ_Mauthausen).--Agp (talk) 11:59, 15 May 2016 (UTC)
Inaccuracies[edit]
A list of problems with this picture (quite possibly incomplete):
- "At. Aegidus" is marked with dot and name in Salzburg, no such place exists
- sub-camp in St. Aegyd am Neuwald in Niederösterreich is missing
- sub-camp Bretstein is listed as "Brotstein"
- "Hollenstein" ist marked, no such place exists in that region, there was no sub-camp in that region, nor in "Hollenstein an der Ybbs" (which is further south)
- Innsbruck and Sportgastein are marked with a dot (no name though), but there were no sub-camps there
- Graz is marked with dot and name, there was no sub-camp there (there was a forced labour camp though, but not part of the concentration camp system)
- "Hainburg an der Donau" is marked with a dot (no name though), there was no sub-camp in the region (though there was forced labour at "Leichtmetallwerk Bernhard Berghaus", but not part of the concentration camp sysem)
- Moosbierbaum is marked, there was no sub-camp in the region (though there was forced labour)
- sub-camp Ebensee is marked a bit too far west
- sub-camp Ternberg is listed as "Ternsberg" and is marked too far south-east
- sub-camp in Lind castle is marked way in the south, correct coordiantes: 47° 3′ 20.23″ N, 14° 25′ 32.63″ E
- sub-camp Loibl is missing
If anyone wants to create an accurate picture, this site of the Mauthausen Memorial has the correct data. --IllCom (talk) 12:55, 20 September 2018 (UTC)
