Original Bundesarchiv version[edit]

I consider it to me the more authentic one; the beautification is unneeded. In addition, having the original caption on the edge helps to visually identify that the file is properly licensed rather than a "fair use" one. K.e.coffman (talk) 23:27, 24 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The black border is undesirable. It is not an intentional part of the image. COM:WATERMARK suggests that watermarking is discouraged, but that there are some rather unclear potential legal issues. As such, I have added the tag to have the border removed, again - but not the watermark. Hohum (talk) 00:53, 26 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
The original marking on the version provided by BA helps distinguish the image from the fair-use one, and is therefore preferable. K.e.coffman (talk) 23:23, 31 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
What fair use one? Hohum (talk) 18:21, 1 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
K.e.coffman is simply spreading his crusade, which has entered its most ridiculous phase yet, to Commons. If he continues to edit-war over images here, he will be reported to administrators. Parsecboy (talk) 20:07, 1 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
