Original Bundesarchiv version[edit]

I consider it to me the more authentic one; the beautification is unneeded. In addition, having the original caption on the edge helps to visually identify that the file is properly licensed rather than a "fair use" one. K.e.coffman (talk) 23:27, 24 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The black border is undesirable. It is not an intentional part of the image. COM:WATERMARK suggests that watermarking is discouraged, but that there are some rather unclear potential legal issues.
