The colors are difficult to distinguish well, please consider red-green color vision deficiency when choosing colors. Yellow is a good color, as long as it is not used for text or for a projected image. But on a screen it is a perfectly valid choice.
In general using colors close to the CMYK color space is helpful. Also contrast and no mix/blending of colors to indicate information.
