WHAT THE BLOODY HELL! IS SOMEONE EDITING HERE BLIND? Why is this cleary striking image of Napoleon on a Piebald horse being replaced by a muddier scan of a different version, on a brown horse? This image in my opinion is CLEARLY the best of those available and NONE of them are anything resembling duplicates. ~ Stormrider (talk) 19:20, 15 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have reverted edits that were made at the English Wikipedia article Napoleon Crossing the Alps, where all FIVE painted versions of this work are discussed, and this was clearly the preferred version, and the previous edit would have used an inferior image to this one as representation of 3 of them. I might undo some of the damage to a few other pages and wikis, but I won't commit myself to undoing all of it. ~ Stormrider (talk) 20:12, 15 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have made further, more detailed comments on issues raised here on the page Category talk:Duplicate. ~ Stormrider (talk) 15:53, 17 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
