[edit]

suggest to change the date and the related category.

On the photo Don Jaime is featured in the uniform of the Russian hussar regiment, the unit he served in between 1896 and some time between 1906 and 1909. The photo must have been taken in that period.

It is unlikely it was taken in 1920 for 2 reasons. First, in 1920 Don Jaime was 50, while on the photo he looks younger. Second, in 1920 he was already official claimant to the Spanish throne; sporting a uniform of a foreign (and defunct!) country would have been inappropriate and extravagant.

Unless there is a counter-opinion, I will change the date to "around 1900".--Dd1495 (talk) 18:20, 4 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

since there was no objection raised during 2 weeks I have made the changes as above--Dd1495 (talk) 07:48, 18 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I have changed the date to 21 October, 1911. There is striking similarity between this photo and the video footage from 1911, which makes me believe both were taken the same day. It also looks I was entirely wrong stating that it would have been inappropriate for the Carlist claimant to wear a Russian military uniform (though at that time not defunct yet) --Dd1495 (talk) 08:35, 24 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
