really now, someone didn't get the memo about which colors we associate with each party, for the record: REPUBLICAN=RED and DEMOCRAT=BLUE. ignorance is no excuse, how did someone get so involved with politics as to create political maps without picking up on that one?

Note: Someone keeps reverting these images. Please see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_state_vs._blue_state_divide as to the reason that blue = Democrat and red = Republican. Do not revert back to a previous state. (Cardsplayer4life 10:23, 25 July 2007 (UTC))[reply]
The National Atlas uses Red for Democratic and Blue for Republican. If you edit their map, it is not an original government work anymore is it? 72.9.29.170 14:47, 24 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Didn't Al Gore win The Flordia 2000 campaign? I know everybody thinks George W. Bush won Florida. I think somebody should include the controvercy.
