This map should not be used as an archeologically backed-up reconstruction, as Kossinna was a pre-nazy idologist, and this map shows only his personal theory, which because of its ambiguity was not widely accepted. The map itself is not referenced. I assume "Die vorgeschichtliche Ausbreitung der Germanen in Deutschland (The Prehistorical Origins of the Teutons in Germany)" in: Zeitschrift des Vereins für Volkskunde 6, 1896, 1–14. as source (or a derivative work of his biographer?).
