This figure is obviously wrong.

The right spiral (cyclonic, toward low pressure, depicted over Anatolia) should be counter-clockwise, but converging toward LOW pressure.

Net effect is Meltemi is "pushed" from north to south bu HIGH anticyclone over continental Greece and "pulled" (again from north to south) by cyclonic circulation over Turkey.
