the old description, the depiction of the Human soul before birth and after death is only partially correct. The Faravahar is believed to be the depiction of a Farvashi - before birth and after death, the human soul merges with its Farvashi (guardian spirit). - en:Fullstop 15:16, 28 February 2006 (UTC)
