translation into english[edit]

I was asked in my discussion by w:User:Kintetsubuffalo to translate text on the stone into english. So I try and hope that somebody will correct my raw (word by word) english translation:

RNDr. (now something like PhD. in nature sciences) Rudolf Plajner was born 5th April 1901 in Prostejov.
Between years 1929 and 1959 he lived and taught on "high school" (cs:realne gymnazium) in Holesov.
In 1939 he was declared as a chief of Junak (czech scouts). His function was confirmed at the 3rd meeting (cs:snem) in 1968. And in this function he was accepted until the end of his life.
In the fight of the country liberation from german occupation during WW2 he recieved from the president dr. Edvard Benes the "Czechoslovak war cross" (cs:Ceskoslovensky valecny kriz).
In the times of communist regime he was persecuted, inlcuding members of his family. In this time (better: after this times?) he received many state and scout awards because of his devoting work for scouting movement, inluding the "Rank of silver wolf" (cs:Rad stribrneho vlka).
The end of his life he spent in Luka pod Mednikem (now part of Jilove u Prahy), where he wrote a line of books and handwritings about the history and life of Junak movement in our countries. He died 23rd June 1987.
