To me, the image seems incomplete. The wing can hardly have influence all the way to the top and bottom of the atmosphere.

I would like to see the diagram expanded to show the uninfluenced edges so that the flow within the influenced area can be better assessed visually. In the diagram I propose, one should be able to hold a straightedge from a top dot to a bottom dot and see them move in synchrony from left to right edges. With the influenced dots adjusted according to this, it would be easier to see how the wing distorts the overall influenced airflow within the larger static frame.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 184.91.248.25 (talk • contribs) 05:29, 5 January 2011 (UTC) (UTC)[reply]

I too would like to see the diagram expanded. The discussions I've found only conclude that the diagram is correct, so far as it goes. But an expanded diagram both up-down and left-right would aid understanding. Cagliost (talk) 12:23, 28 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
