It is doubtful this postcard is from 1901. George Henry Larrigan was born in Edinburgh in 1882, and was adopted by Hebert Edward Beckwith as a teenager in Victoria, BC. He went to California in 1908 and trained in photography, then opened his Victoria photo studio in 1910. He died in 1914. In all likelihood this post card was from 1910.
