Not a Lozenge!

This is a Fusil, not a Lozenge. The file needs to be renamed. Kiltpin (talk) 14:06, 9 November 2012 (UTC)
- Uhmm...? I don't think so. After all, the difference between a Lozenge and a Fusil is very ambiguous. Even if a Lozenge and a Fusil have a precise difference, I cannot distinguish these diamond-shape charges in many Coat of Arms that include in Category:Lozenges in heraldry and Category:Fusils in heraldry. - There is no ambiguity between a Lozenge and a Fusil. There is a precise difference. A Lozenge is a square (that is to say, its length and width are equal) standing on one of its points. Whereas a Fusil is longer in its length. As you say diamond shaped. This particular file is most definately a Fusil and not a Lozenge. The Fusil category seems to be mostly correct, but unfortunately the Lozenge category is riddled with mis-categorisations. I have no wish to argue, but I can distinguish between the two. Unfortunately I do not have the necessary permissions to change the names of files and categories, otherwise I would have sorted it out myself. Kiltpin (talk) 13:02, 10 November 2012 (UTC)
- OK. I understood what you say. I would pay attention to your opinion. I have an idea. I will create a new image of a correct Lozenge (its length and width are equal) and replace this file's image. And I will also create new file "File:Fusil demo.svg" using current "Lozenge" image (its length is longer than width). It's an unimportant matter to me. - My works for updating from thin Lozenge to thick one and uploading new Fusil are all done. New Lozenge's width is 420 px same as height. If you have time to spare, please confirm them.
