The uploader Gacgorge wrongfully claims a copyright: The picture doesn't show Tesnière in 1954, as the uploader suggests. The picture is much older, showing Tesnière as a young maître de conférence (in traditional gown). The date on the photo is the date of Tesnière's death. Since the photo was taken at the beginning of the 20th century (at the latest when he was appointed professor in Strasbourg in 1924) by a professional photographer, the unknown creator most probably died a long time ago. Thus, the picture is probably in the public domain already.
