I don't know what building this is or it's location at the time this picture was taken, but it is not Fort Dallas! Fort Dallas in Miami was used by the US government during the Seminole Indian Wars until 1858. Julia Tuttle bought the property and converted an old building on the site into a family home in 1891, which was then demolished in the mid 1920's. The last of the old buildings from the former Fort Dallas, the Barracks, (which I suspect this is a picture of) was moved from Fort Dallas up the river by barge to another location in 1924. So if this is a picture taken in 1930, it is NOT Fort Dallas. miami-history.com/news/fort-dallas-is-abandoned-in-1858/ --1305cj (talk) 22:09, 12 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
