It has been suggested on enwiki at en:Talk:Metropolitan Police#Incorrect picture of Met Police helmet that this is an incorrect image as the Met have always used a black band rather than a silver band. Other images here on Commons seem to confirm that suggestion. --David Biddulph (talk) 16:15, 26 September 2021 (UTC)
