This is not J.-J. Rousseau

This portrait clearly does not depict J.-J. Rousseau (it would have been necessary for the painter to be incredibly incompetent!). The title of the portrait is simply "Portrait of a nobleman" (see [1]). I will modify the title of the file accordingly. Sapphorain (talk) 17:00, 3 March 2018 (UTC)
