The copyright notice on this file claims that the photo "has been released into the public domain by its author, M.C. Brown Shoes". However, the caption states that M.C. Brown Shoes is in the photo. The author is the photographer, who would own the copyright, even they took it at the subject's request, used the subject's camera or sold a copy to the subject.
