This is the advert that the fictionalized 2nd Officer Lightoller mocks in the opening scene for the movie version of A Night To Remember. This advert is also reproduced in the book, but in greyscale. In the colour version on display here the publishers have made a mistake, giving Titanic red funnels. Red was traditionally associated with Cunard, whereas White Star vessels used a colour described as "buff". The precise colour has been lost to history, but it is usually depicted as a shade of yellow.
