The scale run shown is confusing and misleading. A C scale played on a soprano would sound like a Bb scale in concert key or on the piano, with just two flats (Bb, Eb). All of the notes shown fit this key except for the first and last, concert Ab and E. Neither Ab nor E are in the concert Bb key or scale, but they do correspond to the standard lowest and highest notes of most sopranos (low Bb played = Ab concert, and high F# = E concert). In my opinion the diagram should either show a musically correct scale run (with the lowest and highest notes possible within that key), or just show the range of the horn by simply showing the lowest and highest possible notes (low Bb = concert Ab, and high F# = concert E).
