Description of the picture

[edit]

The picture is from Sadi's introduction to his Rose garden. Reading it, I learned that it describes the scene when Sadi (on the right, with a striped coat) suggests to his friend that he could write the Rose Garden. His friend congratulates him to this idea by shedding flowers and grasping the seam of his coat. The latter is a gesture that usually means “Be my teacher!” Here, it is probably politeness. --Curryfranke (talk) 21:19, 9 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
