Comment on difficulty of modification[edit]

The problem here with updating this image is the file format. Suggestions:

  1. Data is saved as SVG file but this actually uses more file space than...
  2. Data is saved as a MapFrame json file as can be used with templates such as Wikipedia:Template:Maplink. You could do something like this inline (where each volcano is actually centered at middle of a 2 degree wide or high rectangle, which by coincidence is about the minimal area of planet wiped out totally by a supereruption) for such a limited number of data points -hint you have to click on the map to enable mouse over and wikilinks.
