suggestions, references[edit]

any comments and/or suggestions are very welcome. additionally, if anyone more knowledgeable about Tlingit than me can provide references that contain other maps of Tlingit people, please list them in the bibliography. i have simply consulted general linguistic maps and do not know very much about this language or its speakers. thank you. Map[edit]

Nice work on the map. But it's not quite accurate, at least as far as existing research has it. See the Native Peoples and Languages of Alaska map by Krauss from the Alaska Native Language Center [1]. This map shows a large interior lobe corresponding to the areas where Tlingit is/was spoken along the Atlin, Tagish, and Teslin people, and on the Taku River. — Ts'éiyoosh

Based off of?[edit]

I'm working on maps for lower BC coast for indigenous languages. Specifically, Vancouver Island, and Georgia Straight area. I like this map, but there are few of BC-native language maps. Any help, suggestions, or whatever would be awesome. Thanks!!! OldManRivers 04:19, 28 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
