The offensive[edit]

Also, Bi'r al-Ghanam was not under rebel control by 1 August; it fell around 6 August (key turning point in the campaign, IMO). Also, al-Nasr fell to rebels around August 11. The map also seems to indicate that rebels controlled the desert areas south of the mountains by 1 August.
