Interesting article, but the map has been used doesn't show the Netherlands as it was in 9th century: there was no afsluitdijk at this time and no zuid and oostelijk flevoland (polders) and many more différences !

The shape of the coast

The shapes of the coasts should be what they were at that time and not what they are now. It's ridiculous to draw today's coasts, this is shocking for the Flevoland in 843...--Io Herodotus (talk) 21:22, 23 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Red doted lines
