Wrong colors[edit]

File:Wikimedia Foundation RGB logo with text.svg is the actual Wikimedia Foundation logo. I have no idea what this file is or why it's here. --MZMcBride (talk) 19:13, 24 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please don't delete, these are both official and authorized versions, this one is just in pms color format and is the reference copy that will be used and linked from the visual guidelines. Jalexander (talk) 19:48, 24 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
What is PMS color format? Does it not support the correct logo colors? If so, why are we using it? --MZMcBride (talk) 01:42, 25 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

It looks like Rich fixed the colors (yay!). There's now a request at bugzilla:66044 to make this logo (with its smaller icon size) the logo for wikimediafoundation.org. Presumably wikimedia.org and other places will be synchronized as well. I did a comparison and I can't say I love the smaller icon size, but eh. --MZMcBride (talk) 01:42, 3 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry![edit]

My last edit broke “|author=” field (description); it's showing User:Neolŭ instead of User:Neolŭ and somehow I can't fix it D: (already tried reverting) Can someone else do it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Eduardogobi (talk • contribs) 00:46, 11 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Rename[edit]

This is still the officially registered WMF logo, although new versions have come up recently (for printer usage and so on). --Nemo 09:53, 29 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

That is incorrect. This is no longer the official logo of the Wikimedia Foundation. The name is accurate. --Gregory Varnum (Wikimedia Foundation) (talk) 17:03, 29 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
