USA

[edit]

The USA entered the war on April 6th 1917, not in December. Please change this mistake. Regards --Otberg (talk) 17:23, 5 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

note: the date goes straight from December 1916 to December 1917, so this likely just that there is no snapshot of April 1917 to show the USA entering the war

In April USA declared war to Germany... but in December to Austria-Hungary. --Niusereset (talk) 09:51, 2 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Italia

[edit]

Italia was first part of the Centrals before it become a allie of the English/French.83.82.199.112 17:54, 10 August 2012 (UTC)

Was, but never enter the war and remain neutral state until Entente made them to switch sides and declare war. --Niusereset (talk) 09:51, 2 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The Netherlands

[edit]

Indeed, Germany went to France across Belgium. At that moment Belgium was Central, but then came Great-Britain and took it upon for Belgium.

North African Campaign, Somaliland

[edit]

This map does not reflect the territory controlled by central powers co-belligerents in Libya, Morocco, Darfur, Somaliland, and South Africa during the war. Virtually all of libya was under central powers control for most of the war.108.5.245.216 23:04, 22 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Persian Campaign

[edit]

The map does not reflect the Persian Campaign of Britisch and Russian troops. Despite the declaration of neutrality of the Persian government Russian and British troops enforced their forces already staying in Persia and engaged with Turkish troops. There was also some fighting with Persian Gendarmes supported by German consulat agents (Wilhelm Wassmuss). --91.55.163.109 09:19, 9 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Main-switchable

[edit]

It would be more comprehensible, if the picture parts would be switchable by main (not automatic).

Cameroon

[edit]

The far North of cameroon was under German control until February 1916 (mountain fortress "Mora"). --Chrischerf (talk) 16:35, 20 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Turkey

[edit]

The important ally of the "Mittelmächte" entered war in october 1914, by shooting Russian cities, not in december (see also the talk in the German version of First World War). Thanks for changing--2A02:120B:2C63:1C0:4903:A28E:CE98:66E0 13:14, 8 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
