Sunset Crater Volcano

Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument is a nature preserve in northern Arizona. The volcanic cone was created by erutions from 1064/1065 AD until the 13th century and consists of loose tephra. With the tephra the volcano released two minor lavaflows.
