Français : La tour de la Chaîne (XIVème siècle) est, avec la tour Saint-Nicolas et la tour de la Lanterne, l'une des trois tours du front de mer de La Rochelle, et l'une des deux tours emblématiques du Vieux-Port. Elle a été classée monument historique en 1879.
English: The tour de la Chaîne (XIVth century) is, with the tour Saint-Nicolas and the tour de la Lanterne, one of the three towers located on the seafront of La Rochelle, and one of the two towers that is representative of the city old harbour. It was added to the historical monument list of France in 1879.
