diffusing categories[edit]
Hi, I added the Book of Mormon art category to the Latter Day Saint Art category. Since most categories on Commons diffuse, I've been removing some images from the Latter Day Saint Art category if they belong to the Book of Mormon art category or The Story of the Book of Mormon (1888) category. I'm not sure how important diffusing categories is, since there are rumors that Commons will switch to a structured data search in the future, but I thought I would let you know. - Thanks for that heads up; I appreciate it, having created that category. I'm actually wondering if that's the right move? That may depend on what's in the Latter Day Saint art category. Does it include all art of Latter Day Saint movement subjects by any artist, or is it just containing art by artists who affiliate with the Latter Day Saint movement? An artist could depict Book of Mormon content without being an adherent of the Latter Day Saint movement. Granted this may not matter since such I'm not sure if there are examples of such artworks here on Commons anyway. Hydrangeans (talk) 21:50, 29 March 2024 (UTC)
