About Azola Dayile[edit]

Azola Dayile is a final year student in the Department of Journalism, Media and Philosophy at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, majoring in Philosophy and Cultural Studies. He currently holds a National Diploma in Journalism from the same institution. Outside the university space, Azola is a Literacy Coordinator at Unako Community Based Movement, a local Non-Profit Organisation (NPO) that works at over 7 schools in 4 disadvantaged communities around the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan (formerly Port Elizabeth). His passion and interests lie in the areas of arts, literature, history, sports, education and politics, whereupon most of his entries shall be based on. In 2016, Azola was appointed as a Content Writer/Researcher for the Special Project: Humanising Pedagogy Praxis & Research Niche (HPPRN) which is located in the Office of the Deputy Vice Chancellor for Teaching at NMMU.
