My name is Carolyn Seaman and I am a member of Wikimedia Nigeria and the Wikimedia Hub Abuja.

I am a girl expert and a tech evangelist passionate about the empowerment of adolescent girls and young women and building their capacity to champion advocacy for the protection of girls' and women's rights in society. I have a background in law, gender and security and I run a nonprofit that empowers girls and women. I love storytelling through pictures and videos and this fuels my passion in social impact filmmaking. Wikipedia is a passion project for me as i seek to contribute to influencing the inclusion of women's profiles and articles in Wikipedia. I am a member of the Wikimedia community in Nigeria and I am also a member of the Wikimedia Hub Abuja where we engage activities to contribute to the profiles and articles of Nigerians on Wikipedia. I love watching films and I am an avid lover of music.

Complementary to my day job in the nonprofit sector, I engage training and outreach programs coordinated by the Wikimedia Nigeria community including engagements with other Wikimedia communities outside Nigeria. I work to contribute to the profiles and articles of women in Nigeria including promoting the pictures of women and girls on Wikimedia. I am driven to engage women and build their skills to grow the impact of the Wikimedia community in Nigeria.
