I'm Jake Ian Russ. A self-taught adolescent from Crook, County Durham. My life goal is to be an amateur of everything, and a master of nothing. So as you would expect, I'm an avid non-fiction reader with an interest in several subjects. However I have a partiality for video-games, vintage computing, history (all subsidiaries), and science (all subsidiaries).

Here I will be contributing primarily to articles about areas within North-East England. In the future I may contribute more to different fields, we'll just have to wait and see.
