SOLAR AQUA

Solar Aqua is a brand of watches created by Timothy Eaton, who founded the T. Eaton Company Ltd. in 1869. Timothy Eaton arrived in Canada from Europe in 1854. Eaton spawned a colossal retail empire that his offspring would expand from coast to coast, reaching its peak during World War II, when T. Eaton Co. Limited took more than 70,000 people

Eaton went to the United Kingdom and Europe himself and bought directly from suppliers, also started to produce watches with a limited number of high-end manufactureres, such as Rolex among others.

Eaton has equipped the watches with the best movements on the market. Solar Aqua timepieces have gained an excellent reputation, to the point of being used, even during the Second World War, by aviators and pilots (such as the Royal Canadian Air Force), marines (such as the Royal Canadian Navy), soldiers of the army, among others.

Many Solar Aqua are sold with Rolex movements or Rolex case, under the brand Solar Aqua. Many watches have both brand Solar Aqua and Rolex, both on the dial, on Solar Aqua on the dial and Rolex or RWC or Oyster on the case.
