Potato Champion is a food cart located in the Cartopia food cart pod at Southeast 12th Ave. and Hawthorne Blvd. in Portland, OR. It is credited by many as being one of the carts that pioneered the food cart scene in Portland. Established in 2008, Potato Champion originally served a limited menu of hand-cut, twice-fried Belgian-style fries, a house version of the Canadian classic poutine and a variety of housemade dipping sauces, the menu has expanded to include an assortment of inspired fry-centric dishes.
