Selene Alexia is a Cypriot sports and conceptual fantasy photographer based in London, England. Her photography career began in 2010 while she was studying in the U.S. In 2011she moved to London and studied a BA in photography at the University of the Arts in London, graduating in 2014, followed by an MA in Creative Writing and Publishing at City University, graduating in 2016. As a former athlete, she fell in love with sports photography early in her career. She photographed two Olympic Games to date (London 2012 and Rio 2016), and other major sporting events such as the Baku European Games in 2015 and the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games in 2018. Her conceptual work tells stories through fantasy pieces, expressing a different side of her art.She has published work in the USA, EU and Asia.

Her exhibition, "Moments of Glory" showcases returning champions and first time victors from around the globe, including the “Angel with Iron Wings” and the fastest man alive. With 100 photographs, featuring athletes from all over the world, the exhibition shows that gold is not the measure of all things. The effort, the dedication and the companionship are. It focuses on true moments of glory, both those seen and those which go by unnoticed, and hopes to inspire viewers to see glory in a different light. Through guided tours of the exhibition she reveals more intimate details and stories behind the photos. This exhibition was first held in Nicosia, Cyprus at the headquarters of the Cyprus Olympic Committee in May 2017. From the 11th to the 14th of June 2018 it will be held at the Hellenic Centre in London.
