I am a architect and urban planner, social entrepreneur and urban-environmental consultant from Peru living in Berlin. I am fascinated by cities and the relationship with the past. I also study [in]formal urban transformation processes at multiple levels and like to link theory and practice. My interest is on integrating knowledge and methods from different disciplines in concepts like regional and urban planning, ecological green infrastructure, water-sensitive urban planning and design, urban-rural linkages, water-energy-and food productions’ [Nexus], risk reduction, resilience, collective actions and participative processes.

I am also a Peruvian adventurist now discovering cosmopolitan Berlin. Cultural aspects play an essential role in my life since I am a child. My personal development and education are positively influenced by my artist father, born and from the Andean mountains and working mother, from a fishermen family from the Pacific Ocean. While working and traveling abroad, I became part of the global expat mentality without losing my local roots. Nowadays I am re-discovering myself as a woman, professional, urbanist, art lover, and immigrant in Berlin, Germany.
