In plant systematics, rosids is the name of a clade in the APG II system, of 2003. This clade, in turn, belongs to the clade eudicots, in the angiosperms (the flowering plants).
The clade rosids consists of
- six families: Aphloiaceae, Geissolomataceae, Ixerbaceae, Picramniaceae, Strasburgeriaceae, Vitaceae (sometimes placed under Vitales)
- three orders: Crossosomatales, Geraniales, Myrtales
- two further clades:
- eurosids I (sometimes called fabids): two (or three) families and seven orders
- eurosids II (sometimes called malvids): one family and three orders
