English: Originally built in the 13th century, extended in the 16th century, restoration and major alterations completed in 1707 after sustaining major damages in the wars of 1641 and 1689, windows were altered in 1801 and 1806, and the entrance porch was added in 1888. The green copper spire was constructed in 1933 after the previous spire was struck by lightening in 1932. Due tue this spire the church is nicknamed as “The Green Church”.
