Name of category

[edit]

Why was this category moved to "Norfolk, England"? The Wikipedia article is at "Norfolk", and it would make more sense for the category, and all its subcategories, to be named in the same pattern. There have previously been proposals to rename the Wikipedia article, but they have failed to gain consensus. Skinsmoke (talk) 00:03, 3 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguating this category isn't necessarily a bad thing - though a better title may work better such as Norfolk (county). However, the sub-cats should not have the "England" unless its really needed. For instance, there are buildings in both the English Norfolk and Norfolk, VA, but only the English one has listed buildings.--Nilfanion (talk) 10:14, 6 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Nilfanion: while I agree "Norfolk (county)" may have been better there are several counties called "Norfolk County" so the title could add needless confusion. This would be the opposite for Devon where there are wards and a river in England but no Devon Counties. Crouch, Swale (talk) 09:56, 11 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
