Comment I don't think it's comparable with that composition. The "dark" wall is not an external facade like in the other picture you mention but the back wall of a passage. This windowless passage is very dark. I had to brighten it up a bit, in the original shot the wall was even darker. The background is a narrow inner courtyard, surrounded by high walls with no direct light (and not a large park; it was a sunny day when the picture was taken). --Llez (talk) 01:50, 18 September 2020 (UTC)
- Both compositions are comparable. Not the same images, but two centered compositions with round door in the wall, and vegetation behind. (And this is the aspect I like).
- Now of course I notice the camera is located in a darker room. Still, overall the image is divided into two parts: 1) One very dark foreground 2) One grey background. And just a tiny luminous area at the top of the stairs. 90% of the surface is too dark. You're saying there was no direct light in this narrow courtyard, due to tall walls, and yes, unfortunately that's visible: the exposure is not well set in my view. Sorry but same problem as here before it was fixed. You can increase quite a lot the light of the whole image and create a more appealing appearance -- Basile Morin (talk) 06:29, 18 September 2020 (UTC)
