[edit]

  • Nomination Texas spiderlily -- Hymenocallis liriosme, a native Texas flower --Jim Evans 13:20, 23 March 2021 (UTC)
  • Decline
  •  Oppose No EXIF-Data, stamen out of focus. --F. Riedelio 09:20, 31 March 2021 (UTC)
    •  Comment To me, 5 of the 6 stamen are in focus. The stamen at 1 o'clock is further away and somewhat out of focus. I don't think there's a requirement for EXIF data. -- Jim Evans 14:44, 1 April 2021 (UTC)
  •  Comment Exposure on the high side, some loss in detail in bright areas. A bit noisy. Resolution at lower end. Somewhat harsh lighting. Exif data sometimes helps judging. I tend to look favourably on a photo with similar minor flaws, where the photographer has made the most of a rather simple camera or a difficult lighting situation or a hectic shooting situation.
If I find similar weaknesses when using a superduper camera or in simple standard shooting situations, or if the EXIF indicate unfavourable camera settings, then I tend to reject in close decisions. However, the latter happens much less often than the former. I don't look at the EXIF data if the photo presented has no obvious flaws.--Smial 07:36, 2 April 2021 (UTC) Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)
