  •  Oppose Sorry but apple trees in the foreground aren't sharp enough. Btw nice shot. Tournasol7 07:39, 1 May 2018 (UTC)
  •  Comment I disagree --Moroder 08:25, 1 May 2018 (UTC)
  •  Support Moroder, you should apply some amount of sharpening to your photos as the D850 has no AA-Filter in front of the sensor. I took this image and loaded the jpeg into LR and it is as sharp as it could get taken at f/14. --Granada 11:44, 2 May 2018 (UTC)
  •  Request Thanks for your Support and comment but please sign it--Moroder 11:31, 2 May 2018 (UTC)
  •  Comment I believe the issue of the AA-Filter is für far beyond the requests for an image to be a QI --Moroder 11:37, 2 May 2018 (UTC)
  •  Comment The missing AA-Filter of the D850 is not an issue, it's a feature. :) Images of the D850 are too soft at 100% without any sharpening and that leads to misconceptions as happened here. And sorry for having forgotten to sign my first comment. --Granada 12:10, 2 May 2018 (UTC)
  •  Comment Thanks! I'm not so fond of sharpening but may I ask you what kind of sharpening you'd suggest... in a way to get less critics on QIC ;-) --Moroder 18:23, 2 May 2018 (UTC)
  •  Comment In Lightroom I usually drag the sharpening slider to at least 50-70 and by holding down the Alt-Key (don't know which key on Mac) I mask out the areas of low contrast. By doing so only more or less hard contrasting edges are being sharpened and not the noise within areas of the same color or e.g. a blurred background. In most cases you can easily drag the masking slider to around 90, but maybe you have to set it to lower values for landscape photography. --Granada 10:21, 3 May 2018 (UTC)
  •  Comment Thank you indeed --Moroder 17:26, 3 May 2018 (UTC)

I'm sorry but IMHO the image is 90% unsharp --The Photographer 00:00, 2 May 2018 (UTC)

  •  Support QI and the motif is a FP but the sharpness problems are not fixable even with advanced PP as I believe.--Ermell 08:25, 1 May 2018 (UTC)
  •  Oppose Too much unsharpness ----Fischer.H 17:41, 1 May 2018 (UTC)

  • ✓ Done not sure what happened there! Charlesjsharp 14:21, 20 April 2018 (UTC)
  • Charles, I'm afraid that this is not a QI as the tip of the tail is missing Poco a poco 18:58, 20 April 2018 (UTC)
  • Perfect composition is not a criterion at QI although it probably should be. Charlesjsharp 14:39, 21 April 2018 (UTC)
  • To me it's not a matter of composition, the subject is cropped Poco a poco 19:06, 22 April 2018 (UTC)
  •  Support As the image has been here for a week without a veridict, I say: OK for me. @Poco a poco: If you don't agree, please move to CR. --Basotxerri 07:46, 29 April 2018 (UTC)
  •  Oppose I think that missing the tip of the tail is not just a composition issue, a piece of the main subject is missing, that's critical to me for QI, sorry, please, let's discuss Poco a poco Mon, 30 Apr 2018 18:10:20 GMT
  •  Support - Very long tail. I think it's an "etc.", as I seriously doubt anything looks way different in the rest of the tail. I think it's OK. -- Ikan Kekek 05:10, 3 May 2018 (UTC)
