Reason Not in shadow, better quality image -- Rodhullandemu (talk)
Review

  •  Comment That's debatable. We normally like to see the whole facade or as much as possible. Also, this photo doesn't show the tower, which I think is important. I am not tempted to support this replacing the other photo. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 18:34, 28 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Comment I suppose taste as to "value" varies greatly. I could have just shot the facade, or reshot the competing image which is mostly in shadow, but was considered to qualify for VI at the time. The acid test should be not "is this best image that can be got of this subject" but "is this the best image we have of this subject". But, look, I'm 68. I have three life-challenging medical conditions. Everything I do is currently difficult, and I know I won't see 70. Meantime, I will do the best I can while relying on public transport without an oxygen cylinder. However, if I get back to the Tesco opposite this in the near future, I'll have another go.
