Description Op 28 oktober 2000 werd de reddingboot Zeemanshoop gedoopt. De reddingboot is genoemd naar de voormalige reddingboot Zeemanshoop (gebouwd in 1925) waarmee de schenkers, de heer Belinfante en zijn zuster, op 14 mei 1940, samen met 38 andere joodse vluchtelingen, overstak naar Engeland om te ontkomen aan de Duitse bezetter.
