Description
日本語: クールへー濱。基隆停車場から約一粁餘に在るクールベ一濱は，一八八四年清佛の役に佛將クールベーが戰艦十五隻を率ゐて基隆占領のため上陸した地で，地名も此に起つたものである。圖は此の裏手に在る佛軍將士の戰死病歿者の墓碑で，柵をめぐらした此地は永らく彼等の母國の領地として定められてあつたが，昭和三年盛大な式があげられ，總督府に移管されることとなつた。遠淺のこの濱は又市民の公共海水浴場でもある。背後のには西班牙人の築いたと云ふサンチシマ．トリニダット城址がある。（《日本地理大系．臺灣篇》編輯部）
