秋この布袋和尚、御行儀は頗るよろしくないが、仰ぎ見る相格實に福德圓滿、何人もこの前に破顏一笑しないものはない。布袋は梁の散聖の名で、彌勒の化身だと傳へられるから純然たる支那出身七福神御一人であらせられ支那人の渴仰一方でなく、繪に像に信仰普き福祿の守本尊ではあれ、露隱寺境內のこの像程の出來榮のものは、先づ少い。｜（一九三〇年秋撮影）（印畫複製嚴禁）
